The 3rd Ice/Snow Day!!!!

We are enjoying our 3rd day of being out of school! It is so peaceful outside our home from the front............

While we play monopoly with a 4 year old and for the 10th time...........

And he is climbing the walls(and tables) playing UFC fighting and the winner is BAXTER EVANS!

Ice Sledding!

Jeremy and Baxter got out the 4 wheeler and went sledding - they even picked up some of the neighborhood kids as they were out - Wiley, Tyler and Sydney all took a turn too. Is it my turn yet??????

Baxter loved sledding, if he wasn't about to freeze he would still be out there!

Here we are with another ice storm! Baxter and I were out of school today and Jeremy closed his office as well so we all 3 got to be home together!!!!!!! These are the kinds of days you cherish, getting to be together at home, we have played games, ate, watched a movie, ate some more and played in the ice and right now as I am typing it is snowing, maybe we will get enough to build a snowman, ha ha!!!!!!! Looks like we will be home tomorrow too - more time for blogging so watch for pictures!

Cowboys!

Baxter's buddy, Wiley, had his 5th birthday party on Sunday. Baxter loves parties so he was all excited to go. They were to were their boots and come on to Wiley's ranch! There was lots of boys, it was a wild time and they even had a pony ride!

Are You Ready For Some Monster Jam!!!!!

We came back from Miami just to take our 4 year old to a Monster Jam at the BOK center that we had gotten tickets to for Baxter's Christmas. It was exciting. He wasn't quit sure at first but as you can tell from the pic he was loving it by the time GRAVE DIGGER was doing his jumps! I would not have made it without the ear plugs (Baxter or daddy either)!!! It was a night full of action and noise! Grannie and Mike met us there for the excitement.

2009 in Miami, Floridia

We started 2009 with a bang! Jeremy and I took a trip with our friend Geoff and Valarie Raymer to the OU bowl game in Miami, Florida!!!!!!!!! It was a blast, even though our team was not victorious we still had fun in the sun on the beaches of Miami.

Baxter stayed behind with grandma and grandpa, I think he thought he was on vacation too! They had a party every night while we were gone! He got to stay 2 nights but really wanted to stay 4. We will catch those other 2 nights soon grandma and grandpa!!!!!!

All About Us

I am so excited to have a blog to share our family with you! Let me start by telling you all about us. Jeremy and I were married in June of '97. Jeremy is the supervisor for the Office of Juvenile Affairs in Mayes County. He enjoys his work but most of all loves to hunt - anything that moves almost, particularly deer! I am a kindergarten teacher in Pryor and enjoy teaching my kids to read, so rewarding!!!!!!! Most of all I enjoy being a mother to our 4 year old son, Baxter. He is the joy of our life. Baxter is a very sweet, funny, full of life little boy. He attends Lincoln K4 and enjoys singing songs, leading songs, watching monster jams, playing with John Deere toys, driving trucks and has even attemped a little hunting with his daddy!
