Here was the the Grave Digger pinata that him and his buddy, Benton, FINALLY broke...........CANDY!!!!!!!!
It took severaly hits for them to get it, but it was well worth watching, quit funny!
PRESENTS.......he got lots of fun things - toys, toys and more toys and some clothes, underwear, shoes the not so fun stuff! We had pizza to eat!
And cake...........isn't that a cute cake, wish I could take credit for making it but I can't! I ordered it and it was as yummy as it was cute.
Party Time!
His best buddy......uncle Josh was there for the fun!
Here is what mommy and daddy surprised him with that morning.......we kept telling him we had something for him in the shop and he couldn't see it until his birthday........he thought it was a semi or monster truck at first. He was so excited, mom nervous and dad very proud!
This was birthday breakfast........it was an all day affair but well worth it!
Is this a precious pose or what! We took a trip to the Gentry Drive Through Zoo on Thursday of our spring break. Baxter was so excited to get there, he did not even want to stop for lunch! We finally got there and boy was he impressed........this is him watching the monkeys, I bet he stood watching them in their cages for 15 minutes!
It was really cool........have you ever been this close up with a Zebra, I have now!!!!!!!
The camels loved the blueberry muffins we took left over from breakfast! Yes, he has his head half way into Jeremy's window after more food!!!!
This gave us a good laugh......the emu's were everywhere you looked, goofy looking but VERY friendly!
As I said the monkeys were his favorite.......here was a baby one that he got to hold!
Here was Baxter enjoying the ride through the zoo!
And mom!
And dad........the tour guide, ha ha! It was a fun filled family day!
This week Baxter and I are out of school for spring break and loving every minute of it! We have relaxed, played everything inside the house and out, I drug him around shopping yesterday, he went for his 5 year check up too and grew 2 inches, we went to the park today and tomorrow the Zoo!!!!!!!
Yes, you read it right! I went to the New Kids On The Block in concert............it was great! When I was a teenager this was the first concert I ever went to, it was fun reliving the past!!!! The BOK was rocking full of 30 something age women dancing and screaming to these guys!
There were several girls that I teach with at Lincoln that went...........Janet, Christy, LeeAnn,
We had dress up week at school and one day was dress as you did in the 1980's! Here I am with my tight rolled jeans and hair ratted as high as it will go with so much hairspray it wasn't going anywhere! Baxter didn't know what to think.........his class had tie day, so here he is in the pic with his daddy's tie on, he thought he was pretty handsome!
We took a trip to see family this weekend in Anadarko...........traveling with a 4 year old is always so interesting.......we didn't have the dvd player so we read lots of books, sang lots of songs and counted lots of trucks on our 3 hour ride! Baxter did very good and we had a good time. He fell asleep just as we were coming into Tulsa, isn't that how it goes!
